4.8I’ve had the Black Mat Pro for almost a year and love it! It’s thick without being squishy and long enough that I don’t hang off the edges. It took some breaking in at first, but now it’s not slippery at all. The only downside I see is that it’s heavy, but I just see carrying it as getting an extra workout!
It’s not cheap but it’s guaranteed to last a lifetime, so I’ll never have to buy another mat again!

5This is hte mack daddy of yoga mats. I’m 6′2″ and 200 lbs so most yoga mats are too short for me. I really didn’t want to pay $100 for a yoga mat but figured I’ve spent more than that on all the cheap mats that keep falling apart, so I finally caved and got the 85″. I’ve had it now for 3 months and it rocks! No mat comes close. Believe me, it’s worth the money.

5I’ve gone through at least 5 mats in the past few years and the Black Mat is by far the best. it has completely changed my practice. So maybe it’s not biodegradable but do you really want one that is going to decompose on you? Most of those eco mats last 1-2 years tops. I know this firsthand. This thing will last forever!

2I have had my black mat pro for about 2 months and it is still really slippery, I have scrubbed and scrubbed it a
bunch of times but it is still so slippery I had to buy another yoga mat to place on top of it.

5I have had 2 black mat pro mats. I had to send one back because of scratching and behold manduka sent me another one free of charge. For all the slippery people out there it takes about a year of regular use before the mat stops slipping. Alternatively there is instructions on the manduka website on how to soften the surface.
Once the top surface softens you won’t want to use a towel.

2.8Not liking this mat whatsoever…it is soooo slippery when you sweat, and yes I did try treating it and I am still slipping. I have put up with it for 3 months and buying a new one. Don’t spend the money on this one…it is not worth it!!
